LOGO is an abbreviate form of LOGOTYPE, taken after modifications from the Greek language. It’s designed in the form of a graphic mark, an emblem or as a symbol. It is used to support and promote an Organization itself into the public and attain recognition. It may be an abstract or a symbolic design or may contain the text of the Organization’s name. In around sixteenth century, a logo consisted of a group of letters, which used to be independent (not connected) as in Garamond model. Whereas, in another form of logo, two or more letters were combined or connected to attain a structure, though they did not become a word. This form is called as Ligature.
